Motorola Backflip will launch Germany soon
Do you remrember Motorola Backflip released on CES not long ago? Today er get some good news for Germany Moto fans. Motorola announced today that it will launch the Motorola Backflip in the 2nd quarter 2010.
At the first sight the Backflip looks like a Motorola Dext/Motorola Cliq but unlike Motorola’s first Android smartphones, which came with a slide-out keyboard, the Backflip features a unusual but unique reverse flip design which is said to make it easier to enjoy videos, music and photos while the QWERTY keyboard allows you to blast through E-Mails, texts, news feeds, social network messages and more. The Backflip is designed around the MotoBlur experience and provides multiple features to keep phone conversations moving.

Motorola Backflip uses Google’s Android 1.5/Cupcake (however Motorola promised an Android 2.1 upgrade a while ago), the Backflip features quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and triband UMTS/HSDPA at 850/1900/2100 MHz as well as WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 and an aGPS receiver. Furthermore, the Backflip features a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with supporting flash LED and a 3.1″ HVGA screen.

The truly original design allows Motorola Backflip to create new ways to enjoy photos, music and more. In the reverse-flip, tabletop mode, listen to music or view videos hands free. The digital picture frame mode lets you show off your latest adventures. You can even turn Backflip into a bedside alarm clock for your morning wake up call.
Motorola Backflip comes fully equipped with the MotoBlur, Motorola’s Android-powered content delivery service created to make phones more personal and socially smart. It is the first and only solution to sync contacts, posts, messages, photos and much more - from sources such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Gmail, work and personal E-Mail and LastFM - and automatically deliver them to the home screen. Content is fed into easy-to-manage streams allowing you to spend less time managing your life and more time living it. Last but not least the Backflip features Motorola’s new BackTrack feature, which allows to quickly and easily navigate through menus and features. BackTrack is a touch panel located on the other side of the device, offering you a new way to scroll through - the Web, texts, E-Mails and news feeds without obscuring the home screen.
Motorola hasn’t given any carrier related announcements or the price for this hot phone.
